Happy weekend!! We live near the city and yet we have only been there once. So for our three year anniversary, my hubs and I decided to explore DTLA like tourists.
I knew I wanted to be comfortable and dress casual but also look good. Although this white top from Kensie is so basic; it has the cutest strap details. I have been saving it for a special occasion like this one 🙂
We started at Skyspace because we have heard so much about it and seen amazing pics there. It really did not disappoint. Seeing LA from the top is amazing. We also went on the slide! I posted a pic of us in the slide on Instagram and got so many comments about how scary it looks. But it really was not so bad, there were even kiddos doing it. Plus, the slide itself is very short; it ends before you know it. It was so much fun! Being up there makes you forget the stress of driving in the city for sure!
We then took an Uber ride to the Arts district, walked around, took a pic with the famous polka dot wall. We also took pics with some graffiti.
We ended our day at the Last Book Store which is an old library in the heart of LA. It has mazes of books, a book tunnel, and it really is so unique.
This is my good bye LA post for a while… Stay tuned to see where we have landed. Follow me on Instagram if you haven’t yet.
What have you done to celebrate something special lately?
