Okay so mother’s day is in 1.5 days and if you are like me, and you leave things for the last minute, you are probably going to rush to the mall either today or tomorrow to buy your mom a present.
So let me try to help you with this list of last minute gift ideas that you can pick from depending on your budget and what your mom could be into.
This always works; why not pick her favorite flowers? It could be a bouquet of pink roses, or sunflowers. Everyone loves flowers, well except my mom. I would get her a money tree, a bonsai, or bamboo.
2. Skin care products
Anti-aging products are always a must. Estee Lauder or Lancôme always have a set that you can get. Even buying one product like night repair from Estee Lauder would be good since they are kind of pricey, but so worth it!
If your mom is into wearing watches, Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs are popular brands and always have a variety of styles and colors. Here are some of my favorites:
A woman can never have enough purses. Pick a color; a tan color is usually popular, gray and black are good too. Pick a style: does your mom like totes, cross bodies, ect.?
I know my mom’s size so I usually get her a top similar to one that she owns but in a different color or with different details.
I know I wouldn’t mind getting a cute flowery scarf or one with a nice pattern. I get my scarves from Neiman Marcus Last Call, or Nordstrom Rack. Here are some that you might be inspired by:
This is a little hard since you don’t know for sure that the frame will look good on her. But it is worth a try, she can always exchange it. Usually the Ray Ban aviator ones seem to look good on everyone, so they might be the safest choice.
You can choose from a nice bracelet, pendant necklace, a ring (if you know the size), or a pair of earrings. It doesn’t have to be real gold, it could be from Swarovski. You can even get a statement necklace. Here are some pieces that I love:
You can always print pictures and frame them. I am sure she would cherish that forever.
Here are some of my mom’s and my favorites:
Victoria’s secret or Norstrom are my go-to for this. Here are some at Nordstrom that I need to have:
12. Hair tools
Does she need a new blow drier or maybe a flat or curling iron, you can visit Sephora or Ulta for that.
13. Crock pot /pressure cooker
I bought mine from Costco and the best pressure cooker I found was at Amazon. These are really life savers for moms that just don’t have time to cook. I got a slow cooker for my mom and she was amazed such a thing exists.
14. PMD or Clarisonic
The Clarisonic is a must have, and the PMD is nice to try if she is into microdermabrasion.
15. A gift card to a spa
Maybe she needs some rest, so this would be a perfect gift for her to get a massage or facial and some much needed alone time.
I hope these have helped inspire you for a good gift for a deserving mom in your life.
